Minerals Corporation (ASX: MSC) has noted that PRM Cloud Solutions, which it is acquiring, has signed a strategic alliance with UK-based Air Energi Group that highlights the attractiveness of its cloud based Enverro workforce management application.
Air Energi will use Enverro for its mobility operations and will assist with its introduction and marketing to its customer base in the Asia Pacific.
MSC is acquiring PRM Cloud Solutions for an upfront consideration of 650 million shares and a further 350 million shares (pre-consolidation) subject to revenue based performance hurdles.
"PRM has filled a huge gap in the IT marketplace where tracking and analysing capital-intensive resources projects are concerned," Air Energi Australasia vice president Matt Smith said.
"By adding the Enverro application to our mobility operations, we gain visibility into the full workforce mobilisation process."
MSC managing director Murray Ward added the alliance was further validation of the potential for Enverro to revolutionise the way in which workforces for the oil and gas, mining, and construction sectors, are mobilised globally.
"This is evidenced by recent $1 billion+ acquisitions by the likes of SAP, of cloud based human capital management businesses, as enterprises look to replace ageing and inflexible legacy software," he added.
"Air Energi is one of the world's leading providers of technical expertise and personnel to the oil and gas sector. The company has offices in 35 countries around the globe and has deployed oil and gas professionals in over 50 countries."
PRM chief executive officer Leigh Kelson added the strategic alliance significantly reduced lead times and increased market penetration opportunities for Enverro.
Besides benefitting from Air Energi's own licensing requirements and associated revenues, PRM will also benefit from the introduction to Air Energi's world class client base, which includes companies like Royal Dutch Shell, BP, Total, Chevron, Exxon Mobil, BHP Billiton and Worley Parsons.
Air Energi's adoption of Enverro had followed a successful pilot at the PNG LNG project in Papua New Guinea.
This determined that the combination of PRM's technology platform with Air Energi's industry leadership would offer Asia Pacific customers an unrivaled solution for mobilising an international workforce.
Air Energi has more than 30 years of experience in providing technical expertise and personnel for the oil and gas industry. It has a strong global footprint having deployed prequalified professionals in 50 countries.
Enverro enables project and HR managers in the mining, construction and Oil & Gas industries manage the complex logistics of moving personnel to and from remote worksites while controlling costs, minimising risks and maximising efficiency.
The application solves an issue for organisations with large workforces that need to be mobilised across single or multiple projects.
Currently the process to mobilise a large workforce is primarily managed by multiple databases, spreadsheets and manual processes, which is time consuming, laborious, inefficient and costly.
Enverro is built on Salesforce.com's Force.com platform, the world's leading cloud platform for social and mobile business apps.
PRM's strategic alliance with Air Energi highlights the attractiveness of its Enverro platform and demonstrates the growth potential available to Minerals Corporation following its acquisition of PRM.
