RESAAS Adds 20 Partners Including Uber To Its Marketplace Platform

RESAAS Services (CSE:RSS) has added 20 new partners to its Marketplace program launched earlier this year for its social networking users, which offers a collection of real estate products and servces to purchase at a discounted price.

The idea behind the program is to introduce real estate agents that use its real estate-exclusive social platform to products and services that can help bolster their business. Savings on all products offered through the Marketplace are typically between 10% and 25%, and are redeemable instantly for all registered RESAAS users.

Partners added include some significant brands such as website creation platfrom Squarespace, live virtual tour provider ReaLync, branded agent app Dizzle and the increasingly popular Uber.

With Uber as a partner, RESAAS users are eligible for exclusive credits when riding Uber for the first time. "By participating in the RESAAS Marketplace, we look forward to many real estate agents riding with Uber whether it be to an open house or client meeting," said marketing manager at Uber, Dan Nicolopoulos.

RESAAS provides a social media platform for real estate agents to showcase their listings, answer questions from potential homebuyers, communicate ideas on their market to followers online, as well as refer and network with each other. It is designed to sync with other social networks such as Facebook (NASDAQ:FB), Twitter (NYSE:TWTR) and LinkedIn (NYSE:LNKD), allowing listings and photos to be shared, and industry news to be posted, all of which helps generate leads for the agent.

The business has gone international quickly, with the company having built its own proprietary translation website in order to allow the platform to reach a truly global audience. Its main goal is to generate more business for real estate agents through its referral network.

RESAAS' international expansion has no doubt been fueled in part by its partnership with some of the largest organizations in the real estate industry, the biggest being RE/MAX with 95,000 agents in over 100 countries, which has accelerated interest from overseas.

"It's been less than two months since we unveiled the Marketplace with our initial 10 go-to-market partners, including BombBomb,Dotloop and DocuSign(NYSE:R)," said president of RESAAS, Tom Rossiter.

"The traction this generated, and the combined benefit to both agents and to vendors, has enabled us to form new partnerships with 20 additional real estate vendors in the first of a series of major enhancements to the service."

Other participating partners announced today include ReboGateway, which is an advanced research system that identifies the addresses that have a higher likelihood of selling, and Wise Agent, a customer relationship management system built for REALTORS.

"RESAAS is quickly becoming known as the place to go for the best answers to real estate questions, from best practices, to tools and products to help grow agent's businesses," said Brandon Wise of Wise Agent.

RESAAS said that it is also introducing a handful of companies that will offer free versions of their products on Marketplace, including home maintenance app HouseCall, online home refinancer Lenda and expense reporting system Expensify.
