Enertopia (CNSX:TOP, OTCMKTS:ENRT) expects sales of its V-Love flagship product line in the quarter just finished will almost double quarter-on-quarter.
The health and well-being company, hot on the heels of revealing last Friday a narrower-loss in the fiscal year just ended, said it estimates gross sales of V-Love in the three months ended 30 November will clock in at US$13,000, compared to the preceding quarter's sales figure of US$7,034.
The 84% increase in sales is impressive in anyone's books but the company noted that the figure would have been higher but for adverse movements in the Canadian dollar.
The company currently sells all of its product in Canada, and estimated that sales in Canadian dollar terms for the quarter just ended totaled C$17,000.
Enertopia said another major retailer with an estate in excess of 300 stores is now stocking V-Love in one of its stores on a pilot scheme.
The company continues with research and development on the V-Love line of personal lubricant and sexual desire gel products.
"We are continuing our progression with our provisional patent pending formulation for V-Love with minerals and vitamins. Enertopia is dedicated to providing the community continued awareness and education," the trading statement said.
The company seeks to inform and educate people of the merits of its product line by going to key consumer forums and providing continued support through digital media and presentations.
V-Love is pH balanced for women and acts as a moisturizer, personal lubricant and what the company calls a "desire gel".
"We are very excited about our sales along with positive third party reviews and testimonials of V-Love. Through research and social outreach we are devoted to further development of products to assist the needs of our community" company president, Robert McAllister.
