NEOVIA Financial (AIM: NEO) announced the launch of its NETELLER e-wallet payment services to BSkyB’s (LSE: BSY) Sky Betting and Gaming customers on their portfolio of e-gaming sites this February including Sky Bet, Sky Poker, Sky Vegas and Sky Bingo, enabling a weekly audience of 150,000 active visitors to pay in and withdraw money using an e-wallet as an alternative to credit cards.
The contract win comes less than a week after NEOVIA secured a deal at the UK’s largest annual gaming event IGE.
“We are delighted to announce this new contract win this week at IGE, the UK's largest annual gaming event. The benefit we bring to BSkyB is a strong reputation for securely managing funds from one wallet and transacting at multiple gaming sites,” said executive vice president of sales, marketing and products at NEOVIA, Dan Starr.
BSkyB is looking to roll out its gaming offerings across Europe and the Far East in the next six to twelve months, expecting the NETELLER e-wallet to help it reach new customers in the market. Under the agreement, BSkyB will also have the opportunity to cross sell their products and services to other NETELLER members and wallet holders.
Sky Betting and Gaming posted a gross profit of £51.9 million in 2009.
