The spike was accompanied by an increase in volume, with 3.9 million shares changing hands, compared to 2.5 million shares traded on Friday April 27.
The move has earned the company a speeding ticket from the ASX. Pan Asia responded to the query, saying it was not aware of anything that could have caused the jump in price and volume.
Shares in Pan Asia closed the day at A$0.20.
