Integra Mining confirms gold find at Majestic Prospect

Integra Mining (ASX: IGR) has confirmed initial 4-metre sample results from the company’s first RC drilling programme at the Majestic Prospect, located 22km north of its Salt Creek gold deposit, near Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.

The sample result of 20m @ 5.79g/t was confirmed by 19 metres at 6.54 g/t gold in 1-metre re-samples.

Construction of a gold processing facility is in-progress at the Company’s Randalls Gold Project, itself 60 kilometres south-east of Kalgoorlie, Western Australia.

Initial drilling has intersected good widths of near-surface, high-grade gold mineralisation within very broad zones of gold anomalism.

Results for 1-metre re-samples from an initial 11-hole RC drilling programme received to date include 19 metres at 6.46 g/t gold including: 3 metres at 14.95 g/t gold; 7 metres at 7.79 g/t gold; 7 metres at 3.64 g/t gold and 3 metres at 4.28 g/t gold.

The company said the 1-metre re-sample results appear to provide excellent confirmation and a moderate upgrade of the original 4-metre sample assay results.

The company said it is important to note that Integra’s interpretation is that results from IMRC008 and IMRC010 represent separate zones of gold mineralisation, each of which needs to be followed-up in its own right.

Additionally, further 4-metre composite sample results from the original drilling programme have been received including: 4 metres at 2.25 g/t gold from 48 metres depth in drill hole IMRC006.

Chris Cairns, Managing Director, said the diamond drilling is complete, interpretation is well advanced and drill planning of the follow-up phase of RC drilling is in progress. Sampling of the diamond drill core is in progress and assays are expected in due course.

The Majestic Prospect is part of the Monger Joint Venture between Integra (85%) and Newcrest Mining (ASX: NCR) (15%).

Integra recently commenced construction of a new gold processing facility at Salt Creek, 22km south of Majestic, as part of the development of the Randalls Gold Project.
