The current drilling program from the Chisperos Deposit delivered; 17m at 2.11 grams per tonne (g/t) from 12 metres; 15 metres at 1.43g/t gold from 77 metres, 16 metres at 1.04g/t gold from 16 metres; and 50 metres at 0.84g/t gold from 32 metres.

Not to be outdone, over at the Tres Perlas Deposit intersections included; 10 metres at 3.07g/t gold from 164 metres, and 5 metres at 1.3g/t gold from the surface.
Finally at the Natalia Waste Dump was; 10 metres at 1.35g/t gold from 10 metres; and 10 metres at 1.14g/t gold from the surface.
Milestones achieved at pace
Earlier in the year Lachlan Star surpassed the three million gold ounce milestone at the mine, with the project currently hosting hosts an Indicated Resource of 1.79 million gold ounces and an Inferred Resource of 1.34 million gold ounces.
The increase in the gold Resource positions Lachlan Star closer to its peer group in terms of contained ounces, as well as provides economies of scale and opens up the potential for a longer mine life.
The potential for a larger Resource still is strongly supported by the fact that most of the CMD deposits are remain open.
Unhedged gold production rising
Currently Lachlan Star has unhedged gold production of around 57,500 ounces per annum, however the company is looking to increase this to 75,000 ounces per annum in the next 12 months.
