The Tambiri prospect at Bangaba has been extended to 3.5 kilometres long, while the Solna prospect is 3 kilometres long.
In addition, other gold anomalous zones have been identified along and across strike from Solna.
The highest power auger gold value returned from the most recent program was 7 grams per tonne (g/t) gold.
A program of infill reverse circulation drilling is planned at Solna and Tambiri in October-November this year, aimed at delineating JORC Resources for both prospects.
Drill testing may also be carried out on some of the new targets that have been identified.
Paul Roberts, managing director of Predictive Discovery, said the results announced today upgraded the scale of the gold mineralised systems at Bangaba.
"These results indicate considerable potential to discover new shallow gold mineralisation extending the Tambiri and Solna Prospects," Roberts said.
"This will add to the potential of the zones where we plan to complete an infill drilling program after the rainy season with a view to calculating a maiden, high grade JORC Resource.
"These new target areas may result in additional similar gold discoveries to add to the resource inventory in 2013."
Previous reverse circulation and diamond drilling programs at Bangaba have returned highlight intercepts of:
- 2 metres at 56g/t gold from 54 metres;
- 5 metres at 17g/t gold from 96 metres; and
- 9.3 metres at 4.9g/t gold from 62.7 metres, including 3.3 metres at 17g/t gold.
Bangaba covers 128 square kilometres in eastern Burkina Faso, and includes areas of extensive artisanal mining where it is estimated that several tonnes of gold have been produced over 27 years.
Predictive Discovery is earning a 95% interest in the project through a series of staged payments in cash and shares. The company's interest currently stands at 68%.
