The saying goes that you should practice what you preach - put your money where your mouth is. After a year of following the twists and turns of the market, I decided to do just that.
When investing in my own portfolio, I draw on sources from Seeking Alpha, the news, and Bloomberg Intelligence. The pitfall of this is the lack of personal insights and effective synergy of these contrasting ideas to craft my own thesis.
Over the course of the next year, I will be including my top picks and what I'm particularly interested at the time. My goal is to use generic public data to initiate analysis of a company while using unorthodox sources and data to generate unique ideas that will usually go against the consensus.
At the moment, the stocks in my portfolio include TUSK, PATK, MU, SLCA, and CTC. For the time being I am planning to hold these positions, and based on future prospects and overall attractiveness of the market I may load up on new positions in the near future.
Overall, I'm excited to see the improvement of these posts and I look forward to delivering quality, unbiased opinions on the companies I am following.
All the best,
