Introduction

In this note, I plan to share some highlights from our work in Beating The Market. If you've been on the fence about taking the plunge and joining our incredible community, this may help motivate you to join.

Now, after I share these highlights, perhaps you still won't feel entirely compelled to join us. That's perfectly fine. I plan to also share some free channels through which you can link up with us in this parallel dimension they call the internet.

Beating The Market Has Been Beating The Market

Since our marketplace began on about May 1st, 2020, our performance has been stellar to say the least. Our Weekly Top Ideas, which are a selection of 4-6 stocks weekly, have outperformed the QQQ in over 97% of the weeks, during which we have issued a list of top ideas (39 in total so far, out of which we've beaten the market 38 times). Here's a graphical depiction of our performance via our Weekly Top Ideas list:

Weekly Top Ideas Vs QQQ (Early May to Mid January; 38 Weeks in Total)

Of course, the later picks have not had time to gestate, as it were, and therefore appear to have lower returns.

Our average Weekly Top Idea (i.e., we add a singular new idea to the mix about a few times per month on average) has outperformed the QQQ and the SPY handily, as can be seen below:

Of note, the above returns are completely tax-free, in that all that is required to be successful with us is a simple buy and hold strategy of the highest quality companies on earth! Here's another piece of performance evidence should you need it:

Now, you may be wondering how we achieve such consistent results. Yes, a dovish and highly accommodative fed is important, but there's much more to it.

At Beating The Market, we have a highly differentiated, defined strategy that's aggressive, but also sober. We take valuation seriously: we're disciples of Ben Graham and Warren Buffett, but also of Peter Lynch and Peter Thiel, the former of whom were born into the post-Great Depression era and the latter of whom have been prominent investors during the rise of the 3rd and 4th Industrial Revolutions.

With these inspirations in mind, we blend a mix of "price does matter, especially during wartime central bank intervention periods" and "we're buying the highest quality, most innovative companies, led by the smartest and most dynamic business leaders of our era".

And what's great about Beating The Market is we teach you every single thing we know.

Our mission isn't to get you hooked on trading. Instead, it's to empower you to build sustainable, tax-advantaged, life-changing wealth. We operate with integrity, long term perspectives, and service to others as our central, guiding principles.

What Do Our Members Think?

Now, some of you may be thinking, "Graham, Buffett, and Thiel, eh?" Sounds intriguing, but I'm still not quite convinced. Well, if you don't take it from me, let's hear from our loving members (for those whose reviews I used, thank you!):

That's Great Louis, But I'm Fine: I'd Still Like To Connect Once And A While Though And Hear From You And Your Team

Awesome! Here's how:

Beating The Market's Twitter account is now live and sharing a smattering of our best ideas each month as well as research related to the industries within which we invest. You can think of Beating The Market's Twitter as a BTM-Lite. So follow us there and engage with us if you have any questions.

Also, 2021 is the year of video content for myself and the Beating The Market team. We will be publishing much of our video content exclusively for Beating The Market members, but we will also be publishing snippets to YouTube and Twitter. Sometimes we will publish full-length video-podcasts to all three platforms as well.

All of this will be first and foremost published through Twitter to begin, so I encourage you to follow our Twitter if you're interested to learn more about my investing philosophies and thoughts on the evolution of the reality in which we find ourselves investing.
