Yes, I'm really GGjr. ( old blog here: https://seekingalpha.com/user/5088811/instablogs )

Taking things to the next level as Biden takes the country down the drain as fast as he can. It (the USA) was nice while lasted.

Welcome to the USSR.

  • TSLA IN!
  • AIV OUT!
  • Will they go out of business because of getting kicked out? (no).

"Apartment Investment and Management Co. AIV, -86.61% said Tuesday that it has completed the separation of its businesses into two separate publicly traded real estate investment trusts. The "new" Apartment Investment and Management Co. (Aimco) has assets of 10% of the previous company's gross asset value as of March 31, 2020, while the new Apartment Income REIT Corp. has about 90% of the previous company's assets, and is trading on the NYSE under the ticker symbol "AIRC." So while some data services may show Aimco shares as being down about 85%, that might not yet account for the separation. As a result of the separation, S&P Dow Jones Indices had said last week that Aimco will be removed from the S&P 500 SPX, 0.47% and be replaced by Tesla Inc. TSLA, -1.04%, effective Dec. 21."

***************NEVER MIND******************

"Tesla TSLA, -0.46% is set to join the S&P 500 SPX, 0.54%, the broader U.S. equity benchmark, in a little over a week on Dec. 21, at which point Apartment Investment and Management AIV, -86.37%, a real estate investment trust, slides to the S&P 400 Mid Cap index MID, +0.65%, index manager S&P Dow Jones Indices said late Friday."

Does this chart on AIV look like it might be a long term buying opportunity as a dividend/call options play?

and look at the buy-write quote!

too bad I have a margin call AGAIN this am. E*TRADE still quotes the option, Schwab says "what options?"

Somebody try this and tell me what happens.
