At primary stage of work-life I was a professional web developer and designer but now I am a passionate SEO expert also. Day and night I dream of one thing, how to bring the site I work on to the very top of search engine results! I am Jack Andrews, a guy who not only dream but holds the potential to turn dreams into reality.

Many of the users like to use jquery programming for the creation of their websites because of the extra functionality and looks it provides to your website if these codes are well-integrated with your website's codes. Jquery is nothing but a huge Javascript library designed for a variety of purposes. It is a very powerful tool which makes your website highly attractive to drive a huge traffic. The actual jquery comes into play when you make a user interface for your website.

Let me take an example. You have made a form in which say there is a place for phone number. Now if you do not give a 10 digit phone number the form will not be submitted when you submit it and you will continually be getting an alert until you fulfill the criteria of giving the phone number a 10 digit number. This is completely done with the help of a jquery.

Ajax stands for Asynchronous JavaScript and XML. It is used mainly to allow the client side of a program to interact with the server side of the application. Ajax is not a single technology but a group of technologies, which when engraved into your website provides better functionality to your website.

Similarly, Ajax is also implemented in your website to give more and more functionality to your website. With the help of Ajax you can exchange data with the help of the servers. Ajax technology is based on HTML and CSS technology.

Now let us take an example of Ajax, say suppose you integrate Ajax in the previous form. While you type whatever you want in your phone number column, it will show you even before submission that you need a ten digit number, otherwise the submission will not be accepted. Or suppose you want to search the name of a friend in your profile whose name is 'Jina' and the moment you type' j' you get the list of all friends whose name starts with 'j'. This is the wonderful feature of Ajax.

With the help of Ajax you don't have to wait for the server to load the pages. Ajax helps the pages to be processed and changed without loading the full page in your web browser. Data can be retrieved with Ajax using the XML HTTP request.

The Ajax has some technologies integrated within it that makes it so popular among the web developers and they try to integrate those facilities within the website codes to give better functionality, better security and better looks to your websites. Ajax has the following technologies integrated with it:

HTML/XHTML and CSS for creating presentations

DOM for dynamic display and interaction with various types of data

XML for data interchange

Javascript is used to embed all these technologies together

Because of so many features web application developers use jquery and Ajax during the development of their websites.
