Ultra High-Frequency Trading Workshop in Dubai, January 25, the City with the World's Fastest Elevators

|Includes: Center Bancorp, Inc. (CNBC), HP, IBM
Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest tower, has a total of 57 elevators and 8 escalators. The elevators have a capacity of 12 to 14 people per cabin, and enjoy the fastest rising and descending at up to 18 m/s (59 ft/s). Engineers had considered installing the world's first triple-deck elevators, but the final design calls for double-deck elevators. The double-deck elevators are equipped with entertainment features such as LCD displays to serve visitors during their travel to the observation deck. Overall, the building has 2,909 stairs from the ground floor to the 160th floor. So it is only fitting that Edgar Perez, author of The Speed Traders,  lead The Speed Traders Workshop 2012 Dubai in the city of the world’s fastest elevators, on January 25. Mr. Edgar Perez, Adjunct Professor at the Polytechnic Institute of New York University, will lead The Speed Traders Workshop 2012 Dubai: How High Frequency Traders Leverage Profitable Strategies to Find Alpha in Equities, Options, Futures and FX (http://www.thespeedtradersworkshop.com), on January 25, 2012. Mr. Perez will reveal at The Speed Traders Workshop 2012 Dubai how high-frequency trading players are succeeding in the global markets and driving the development of algorithmic trading at breakneck speeds from the U.S. and Europe to India, Singapore and Brazil.
