Marco Stoffel holds law degrees from University of Freiburg/Switzerland (PhD) and Harvard Law School (LLM). He was a Fellow of the Swiss National Science Foundation. Marco Stoffel founded his own law firm in Zurich/Switzerland (Stoffel & Partner) and was the co-founder of a group of European law firms (Puender Group).
After 20 years of law practice he became a social entrepreneur. Marco Stoffel dedicated his professional life since 1999 mainly to the Seeds of Tolerance Campaign, where he wants to make society aware of prejudices and provide education tools how action can be taken to unlearn intolerance. Marco Stoffel became also a driving force in a research initiative on Borderline Personality Disorder.
He serves on advisory committees of Human Rights Watch, Columbia Law School and Rockefeller University. Marco Stoffel is a father of three grown-up daughters. He lives in Zurich/Switzerland.
