Sometimes Easy Listening Means Easy $$$
Entercom Communications (ETM) is the largest owner of radio stations in the US. They also are the largest creator of podcasts in the US.
On July 27 I recommended buying ETM at $1.44 and on January 26 I sold it for $4.31 for a profit of 200% in 6 months.
Why did I like ETM? They were in an old-fashioned market (radio) that no one was going to challenge plus they have a growing new-tech (kind of) business making podcasts.
And although they were being punished for COVID-19 problems, they cut costs and continued to make deals like with FanDuel expanding their radio business with the new expansion of gambling.
Good management all around.
And their stock price indicated they were poised for a turnaround too.
As I said at the time:
" ETM is a buy because it remains a viable, solid company that has dropped too far, too fast. I think they will 'Turnaround' and succeed over the next 6-18 months. "
Here's my original article on ETM "Entercom Communications: Easy Listening.
Never heard of ETM? Well, I also made money for my subscribers by recommending stocks such as Intel (INTC), GM (GM), and Exxon (XOM) at what I considered to be "Turnaround" prices.
In the last 10 months (since the COVID crash), I am up 42% compared to the S&P 500 (SPY) 14%. Note that the SPY percentage is calculated by comparing the SPY value on the day I recommended buying the stock to the SPY value on the day when I sold the stock.
Although I have published more than 200 articles on Seeking Alpha, you won't find 5 articles a week from me in your mailbox.
That's because I am choosy and finding turnaround stocks is not easy. But 10 good ideas a year can make you some serious money.
But you will receive a spreadsheet at the end of each month listing every recommendation with buy and sell prices.
And, by the way, my service is the lowest price available on Seeking Alpha. So it's a good way to get good investment ideas at a reasonable price.
If you are interested in more turnaround stocks like ETM join my service, "Turnaround Stock Advisory".
