Some good points made. A closer look reveals that their products are far superior to "what you'd find at a GNC". But that would only be important to those who take any supplements...which even though the AMA finally began recommending them in 2002..only about 10% of the population is actually doing so.
More importantly to investors and would be entrepreneurs - a closer look at the industry will reveal that there are only 11 companies in the history of the MLM industry that have gone to over $1Billion in revenue. Of those NUS is the youngest at 26 yrs in business, has penetrated just 50 countries and as this article points out - pays the highest commission percentage. Given that the true product of any MLM company is "Freedom"...the kind of freedom that comes from a leveraged residual income...combined with the economy and a lack of available capital for business startups....I see greater upside for NUS ...perhaps in the $40. range....As well as greater upside for the industry as a whole.
Yes I'm long NUS.
