Downstream consumers are always willing to purchase lower-grade brand tin according to requirement. But they are unwilling to stock goods.

“ We have sold 10 tonnes or more lower-grade brand tin at RMB 140000 per tonne in the morning. Furthermore, it is said that the quotation of upstream consumers are very high. Yunnan Tin has been quoted at RMB 145000 per tonne. Owing to the lower quotation, some factories chose to purchase goods here.” Some tin trader said to SHMET.

“ The goods of traders are cheaper, what attributed to stocking cheap goods before. There are not much cheaper goods now, so it won’t have great effect on our tin price.” Another tin trader said to SHMET.
