China’s spot Tin is quoted from RMB 138000 to 139500 per tonne, increasing RMB 250 per tonne. Yunnan Tin is quoted at RMB 139500 per tonne, other brand tin such as Jinhai Tin and Feidie Tin are quoted at RMB 138000 to 138500 per tonne. Although LME Tin jumped in the short-term, insiders are still staying on the sidelines of market. On the domestic market, there are many inquirers but less of them purchased goods. Some traders sold goods very actively.

“ The rising tin price has been driven by LME market. The consumption on the market is not very nice. We have sold less than 10 tonnes of goods these two days. We have mainly sold Yunnan Tin at RMB 138500 per tonne. The total volume is about a dozen tonnes, which is much better than yesterday.” Some tin trader said to SHMET.

“ The goods on the market is plenteous. Although LME market is on the upward trend, the demand of downstream consumers is not enough. So domestic price is hard to go up. Today the quotation is too mixed that due to the dropping price, there are more people come to inquire price. But most of buyers purchased goods according to requirement..” Another tin trader said to SHMET.
