Report by SHMET

Lead
China’s spot Lead is quoted from RMB 14800 to 15000 per tonne, up RMB 100 per tonne. LME lead went up last Friday and has continued to stay on the higher level for eight days, which is still in the upward trend steadily. On the spot market, downstream consumers’ purchasing sentiment is nice and sellers are willing to sell more goods. The sales is good. It is superior to the mid-level these days.

“ We have mostly sold Yunnan Lead at RMB 14900 per tonne today. Because of the better sales in these days, and the news is always good for market in the short-term, we have quoted RMB 100 per tonne higher than last Friday. But there are still many downstream consumers coming to purchase goods.” A lead trader said to SHMET.

“ The business is good these two days. In fact, stable market situation is good for both buyers and sellers. We will have got a better attitude and most of buyers will purchase goods according to requirement and less of them is unwilling to buy cargos. We excepted that the trading trend will be continued this week.” Another lead trader said to SHMET.
