More than any other investing opportunity, I find that this industry is the most compelling. Primarily because investing into the narrow range of penny stocks in this space requires as Soren Kierkegaard said "a leap of faith." Metrics don't matter, neither does management, its all about the retail investor's convictions (or lack thereof).
Legalization itself is a big social experiment with Colorado and WA as the test labs. Unfortunately, one big stepping stone has not been addressed by any of our august lawmakers.
Access to banking services. Unless resolved, this industry is being pushed into the arms of organized crime. What a better revenue stream than a quasi-legal industry that HAS TO operate on a cash basis? A dream come true for the wise guys.
