Some Volatile DayTrading

A nice volatile daytrading day for basically ending flat. That sets up a interesting day for tomorrow, as we have several economic reports including advanced GDP, Chicago PMI, Michigan sentiment and some construction numbers.

Not to mention the last day of a very productive month, with the indexes being up nearly 10 percent. So much for sell in May and go away, which is something I've never believed in.

Technically, I get the feeling that she wants to make another attempt at breaking through her 200 day moving average which could mean we shoot up to around 1130, where the 100 day moving sits. If she can break through both resistance points, we would have a nice rally.

Likewise, if she can't back down we go... I am a little surprised that todays energy earnings basically did nothing. And I still really like SLV at these levels.

I'm thinking green tomorrow for over the weekend, then they'll start talking about August jobs numbers, and that could be very interesting.

For right now, I've taken some short positions off the table and just waiting to see what game plan is called next.
