Ireland Debt Crisis Weighs On Stocks, 1 Position

07/13     8:30am

On Tuesday, a credit downgrade for Ireland triggered an afternoon sell-off.  While overseas worries appear to be the main culprit on stocks, 2nd quarter earnings are adding to volatility.

Further weakness in the market could initiate a test of the 50dMA for the major indexes. It is critical to hold this benchmark as trade below may ignite institutional selling.

This morning, futures are pointing to a HIGHER opening.
