(Silvercorp) is a silver producing company. During the fiscal year ended March 31, 2010 (fiscal 2010), Silvercorp mined 406,754 tons of ore. In fiscal 2010, the Company produced and sold 4.6 million ounces of silver, 62.4 million pounds of lead and 14.7 million pounds of zinc. The Company's properties include Ying Mine (77.5%), HPG Property (80%), TLP Mine (77.5%), LM Mine (80%), Nabao Project (82%), GC Project (95%) and Silvertip Project (100%). Kinross Gold Corporation (USA) (NYSE:KGC) decreased 2.89% to close at $17.14. KGC traded 7.72 million shares for the day and its earning per share remained $0.61. Kinross Gold Corporation (Kinross) is engaged in gold mining and related activities, including exploration and acquisition of gold-bearing properties, the extraction and processing of gold-containing ore, and reclamation of gold mining properties. Kinross' gold production and exploration activities are carried out principally in the United States, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador and the Russian Federation. Gold is produced in the form of dore, which is shipped to refineries for final processing. Kinross also produces and sells silver.
