Community Bank System, Inc. (NYSE:CBU) and The Wilber Corporation (Amex:GIW) reported the signing of a definitive agreement pursuant to which Community Bank System, Inc. will acquire The Wilber Corporation, parent company of Wilber National Bank in Oneonta, NY, for $101.8 million in Community Bank System stock and cash, or $9.50 per share.

The merger agreement has been unanimously approved by the board of directors of both companies


Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE:CSC) reported that Knight Point Systems won CSC’s Department of Homeland Security and Law Enforcement Division, Subcontractor of the Year award for operational and business development excellence.

The company was selected for its technical innovation and consistent visionary approach to serving client needs on several tasks on the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s EAGLE contract and the Stennis Data Center program.
