FLIR Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:FLIR) said Thursday october 21, 2010 its profit rose 5 percent in the third quarter, with recently-acquired marine electronics maker Raymarine boosting its sales. Flir said its net income increased to $63 million, or 39 cents per share, from $60 million, or 38 cents per share, a year ago. Revenue rose 16 percent to $332.5 million from $285.6 million. Analysts expected a profit of 38 cents per share and revenue of $348.5 million, according to a Thomson Reuters survey.
