MG reported that its Acoustic Leak Detection Device has been approved for use in meeting the EPA's Mandatory Reporting of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions Rule 40 CFR Part 98. The Mandatory Report Rule (NYSE:MMR) requires entities in the oil and gas industry exceeding certain emissions thresholds to monitor and report their greenhouse gas emissions to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

MG's device, termed the VPAC(NYSE:TM), not only detects the presence of through valve leakage but also uses a proprietary calculation method to quantify the through valve leak rate that is unique in the industry meeting the criteria stated in the MMR mandate.

The VPAC(TM) acoustic emission device technology has been the through valve leak detection standard for over 15 years. Based on over 10 years of research and with over 400 systems currently in use by major oil and gas companies worldwide, the VPAC(TM) is the solution of choice for through valve leak detection and quantification in the industry.

In addition, the intelligent device allows the end user or MISTRAS Service inspectors to pre load the valve route directly into the device prior to taking readings. This saves significant time and helps validate the inspection. All information collected is easily transferred to a PC that generates fixed and custom reports documenting the inspections for submittal.

• There are more than 12,000 sources of wood residues in the United States.

• There is at least one substantial source of wood waste from manufacturing within 50 miles of virtually every federal facility.

• For 75 percent of the larger federal facilities, there are 10 or more sources within 50 miles.

• There are more than 4700 high-volume wood-waste sources within 50 miles of federal facilities.

With rising fossil fuel prices and growing environmental concerns, biomass energy systems are reclaiming their positions in schools, factories, military bases, and community energy plants.

CLNO recently reported the commencement of the final permitting prior to be able to go online at Merced. The Merced project is a 500 Kilowatt biomass-generated power plant that is fully constructed, owned and operated by Phoenix Energy. The Merced project received permission for parallel testing to the grid. This testing process will allow Merced to connect to the grid on its own.

The funding to be provided to Phoenix Energy for the commercialization of this biomass gasification plant should be eligible to apply for a renewable energy cash back incentive program offered by the U.S. Federal Government.

If it concludes its planned investment in Phoenix Energy, under Section 1603 of the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act, CLNO will be entitled to receive its pro-rata share of 30% cash grant payments.
