 THE nominations for the Golden Globe Awards are in and Colin Firth is up for the coveted Best Actor award for his role in The King's Speech Abercrombie and Fitch
The Globes are widely seen as an indicator of Oscar success and through Firth's wife, Livia, and the VOGUE.COM Green Carpet Challenge, we'll be closely following Colin during the awards season as Livia tries once again to navigate the red carpet dressed in ethical fashion. 
The film is a historical drama about King George VI's struggle to overcome his stutter. Vogue cover girl Helena Bonham Carter stars alongside Firth as Queen Elizabeth and has been nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Award. 
Other nominations for The King's Speech include Geoffrey Rush for Best Supporting Actor,A&F Best Screenplay, Best Original Score, Best Director and Best Film in the Drama category.
