Earlier today, I sold my position in Aeropostale (NYSE:ARO) for a tiny gain. The reason I sold was because of management's reluctance to accept an outside buyout. I think that the company only has significant upside as a buyout candidate, instead of as a public corporation at the current time. I still believe that the company should be an overweight part of any diversified portfolio. I just do not feel comfortable enough right now owning it for an extremely concentrated account. I keep thinking back to Benjamin Graham's concept of "A Margin of Safety". Simply put, I would like a little more of a discount to own the company and would definitely jump back in if prices fell much lower.
