Abe Seems To Be Shoe-In For Japanese PM

According to Reuters, latest polls show Abe's Liberal Democratic Party is ahead of ruling Democratic Party of Japan by double digits; LDP had voter support of 25 percent compared to DPJ's 10 percent. Moreover, Abe also has a leading 29 percent of voter support. Abe's election as PM and the relatively strong support for the LDP could potentially mean significant monetary easing that will, among other things, address the harmful effects of yen depreciation.
