Having been an independent investor and trader for the last 15 years, there is one rule I have learned to follow.
"Invest in Market Crashes"
Taking a look at stock charts over the last 20 years, had you invested when there were talks of doom and gloom, and the economy being at a point of no return, you would be a very rich man.
There is one fact about the economy that many don't realize. That is: Every Market Crash has recovered. Every single one of them.
This includes the Great Depression. Despite it's recovery being much slower than economic rebounds of today, The Great Depression set the stage of policy that will revive the American economy should it happen again.
There is a saying that, "past performance does not guarantee future results". When it comes to the economy and market crashes, this may not hold true.
Take note, as we will be entering a stage of "irrational exuberance" in the tech sector, and a great crash will come soon. Be ready to pull the trigger and pile in. America is still the greatest country to invest.
