First Majestic Silver Corp. (NYSE:AG) has announced that “all outstanding conditions required to complete the previously announced Springpole Silver Stream agreement with First Mining Gold Corp. (TSX:FF) have been fulfilled.” The agreement commits the former to purchasing “50% of the payable silver produced from the Springpole Gold Project,” and “to pay First Mining total consideration of $22.5 million in cash and shares, over three payments, for the silver stream which covers the life of the Project.”
Galiano Gold Inc. (NYSE American:GAU) has provided an update on its 2020 exploration program underway at the Asanko Gold Mine in Ghana. Galiano’s CEO Greg McCunn explained:
"Our second set of drill results from our 2020 exploration program were promising. They extend the known mineralization at Abore to the north and justify planned further drilling that will continue to test for mineralization along strike. Abore plays an important role in our objective of replacing depletion in 2020 and 2021 and the recent drill results at Abore add to the drill results from the Akwasiso pit. We expect Abore and Akwasiso to be the main sources of ore supplementing our Esaase pit in H2 2020 and through 2021 and we believe that we have shown the potential for resource expansion at both pits with our drill program."
Kaizen Discovery Inc. (TSXV:KZD) has revealed results from recent exploration diamond drilling at its 100 percent-owned Pinaya Copper-Gold Project located in the Andahuaylas-Yauri Porphyry-Skarn Belt in southeastern Peru. Highlights include the completion of “1,946 metres of diamond drilling in three holes at Pinaya, and all intersected anomalous levels of copper mineralization in altered Puno Group sedimentary rocks without intersecting the causative porphyry intrusions.” Eric Finlayson, Kaizen's interim CEO, commented:
"We are encouraged by the results received from this initial round of diamond drilling, which indicate the presence of a large unroofed porphyry system at Pinaya. We will now be bringing HPX's proprietary Typhoon™ surveying system to site, which will allow us to map the deep porphyry system and direct future drilling."
Palamina Corp. (TSXV:PA) has reported further significant channel sampling results from its Coasa Gold Project in south eastern Peru. Company President Andrew Thomson said:
"Palamina's newly discovered Cayos Zone at the Coasa Gold Project continues to deliver substantive gold values at surface. Palamina's in-country Peruvian geological team will resume exploration in July following Covid-19 guidance. The focus will be on expanding our understanding of the known vein hosting structures slated for drilling in the Veta Zone and new expansion work at surface in the Cayos Zone."
