Newmont Corporation (NYSE:NEM) has announced its 2021 and longer-term outlook. Some highlights include an attributable gold production guidance of 6.5 million ounces, and gold equivalent ounce production from other metals of 1.3 million ounces for 2021. Newmont’s President and CEO, Tom Palmer, said:

Our five-year outlook reflects improving production and costs as we continue to deliver value from superior operational and project execution. Our strong financial position allows us to continue investing in profitable, organic growth while simultaneously returning cash to shareholders through our industry leading dividend framework."
Benchmark Metals Inc. (TSXV:BNCH) has drilled the deepest gold-silver mineralization intersected to date at the northern portion of its Cliff Creek deposit. The company’s CEO, John Williamson, said:
"This drill hole and the surrounding ones are successfully expanding gold and silver to new depths. The Cliff Creek North area is providing continuous, impressive grades from surface with high-grade material at depth. The new depth extensions are yielding impressive intersections that include 1,036 g/t silver and 22.6 g/t gold over 4.3 metres core length. The excellent results from the first of these deep holes confirm our geological model and indicate that this robust mineralizing system remains strong and open at depth. We look forward with great expectations to receiving results from the adjacent drill holes."
Cassiar Gold Corp. (TSXV:GLDC) has reported assay results for the remaining ten diamond drill holes from its recently-completed 2020 drill campaign on its 100 percent-owned Cassiar Gold Property in northern British Columbia, Canada. One highlight in particular was drill hole 20TA-116, which saw “5.43 g/t Au over 18.22 m including 22.40 g/t Au over 0.75 m and 2.77 g/t Au over 13.55 m.” Marco Roque, CEO of Cassiar Gold, said:
"These are our best results from Taurus yet. The remarkable intercept lengths with attractive grades within and around the Taurus resource enhance our confidence in the deposit and its potential for expansion. As we turn our attention towards our high-grade targets at South Cassiar, I couldn't be happier with the Taurus campaign and the results this team has put together.”
Xplore Resources Corp. (TSXV:XPLR) has completed the acquisition of the Valk Project, which consists of 1,614 Ha and within the Nanaimo Mining Division in British Columbia, Canada. Wes Hanson, President and CEO of Xplore, commented:
“This acquisition allows the Company to proceed with future exploration at a pace that we control, providing us with flexibility to deploy our capital prudently. The copper sector is seeing renewed interest as a result of rising copper prices. Historic exploration at Valk has identified anomalous, widespread copper results in a region with demonstrated potential for significant copper discovery. We are currently evaluating alternatives for follow up exploration at Valk in H2, 2021."
