ZEN Graphene Solutions Ltd. (TSXV:ZEN) has provided an update on cytotoxicity testing of its graphene-based antibiotic, antiviral and antifungal compound, revealing “no apparent negative impacts in animals dosed with a concentration many thousands of times higher than that found to be effective in testing recently completed at Mount Sinai hospital.” The company’s CEO, Greg Fenton, explained:
“We continue to make strides that could have far-reaching and extremely positive impacts on society. What started as a breakthrough in our fight against the current global pandemic has quickly evolved into a potential broad-spectrum solution for global infectious disease management. This is an area where society allocates a staggering amount of resources globally, and our solutions have the potential to play a key role."
Bonterra Resources Inc. (TSXV:BTR) has announced results from its bulk sampling program at the Moroy Project. According to the press release “the average mill head grade was 3.87 g/t Au for the Bulk Sample, which is 9.3% higher than the predicted Au grade from the geological model based on the diamond drilling information in the area,” and the “average mill recovery for the gold at 94.9%” Bonterra’s President and CEO, Pascal Hamelin, said:
"It is very encouraging to see the results from the Bulk Sample meet or exceed what was predicted in the geological model and the mineral resources estimated by SGS in May 2019. These results have increased our confidence in the geological model, the grade and the mill recovery of the Moroy deposit."
Altiplano Metals Inc. (TSXV:APN) has expanded underground development at the Farellon Copper-Gold mine near La Serena, Chile, to reach the new access point at the 376 m level and expanding the 382 m SW development heading. Alastair McIntyre, CEO of Altiplano Metals, said:
“With this advancement, and the continuation of the 382 m SW development heading, the Company has increased access to six development headings. This work combined with the anticipated ventilation upgrade, continues our focus on creating efficient mine infrastructure to access additional mineralized copper-gold material at depth on multiple faces. These efficiencies bring us closer to achieving maximum output, sustainability and continued improvement to our bottom line."
Colibri Resource Corporation (TSXV:CBI) has received confirmation that its option partner Tocvan Ventures Corp. (CSE:TOC) has completed its Phase 1 drilling program – comprising nine holes totaling 1,505 metres of RC drilling – at the former’s Pilar Gold & Silver project. According to the press release, “Tocvan anticipates that the drilling will provide important structural information to assist in planning a subsequent drill campaign to test the interpretations of deeper mineralization based on geophysical results and structural interpretation.”
