Alamos Gold Inc. (NYSE:AGI) has reported new results from surface and underground exploration drilling at the Island Gold Mine, further extending high-grade gold mineralization in the Island Main, East and West areas. The company’s President and CEO, John A. McCluskey, said:
“These latest results conclude another successful drilling campaign in 2020. Despite not completing as much drilling as planned due to COVID-19, the 2020 program included some of the best exploration results drilled to date at Island Gold. We expect these results to drive further growth in high-grade Mineral Resources at Island Gold with our 2020 year end update, improving already attractive economics with the Phase III shaft expansion, while also clearly demonstrating the significant ongoing growth potential of the deposit.”
Pan Global Resources Inc. (TSXV:PGZ) has announced that it has begun Phase 4, the next stage of its expanded drill program on the Escacena Project, in the Iberian Pyrite Belt of southern Spain. According to the press release, Phase 4 will include an initial 20 drill holes for approximately 4,500 metres. Pan Global President and CEO Tim Moody said:
"The next stage drill program promises to be exciting as we aim to continue to expand the area of mineralization in all directions and further test continuity. The 2020 program was very successful and continued to show the potential for a large near surface deposit with a 100% success rate from the drilling to-date. We expect these next 20 holes to expand our current footprint and are also planning to accelerate and expand our drill program through 2021."
LaSalle Exploration Corp. (TSXV:LSX) has begun the 2021 exploration program on its 100 percent-owned Radisson Property in the James Bay Territory, Quebec. Company President and CEO Ian Campbell explained:
"We are very excited to begin the 2021 exploration program designed to build upon and expand the high-grade gold in bedrock discoveries we made on the Goldfang and Goldhawk zones late last year. These discoveries represent the highest gold grades recorded to date on Radisson. The IP survey targets these discoveries and several other areas identified as having favourable structural and geological trends. Our discoveries, together with those defining the Stu Structural Corridor that extends through the center of Radisson, represent a new Quebec gold exploration hot spot. Our current work program is being executed with the intent of defining additional targets in preparation for drilling."
SKRR Exploration Inc. (TSXV:SKRR) has received TSX Venture Exchange approval of the previously announced non-arm's length transaction to acquire a 100 percent interest in Edge Geological Consulting Inc.'s Manson Bay property, which comprises four mineral claims totalling 64.537 hectares. SKRR’s CEO, Sherman Dahl, said:
"With the acquisition of the Manson Bay claims and the previous option of the Manson Bay South property from Eagle Plains, SKRR now holds an exceptional, contiguous land position that hosts a historic drill outlined high-grade gold zone including an intersection of 10.03m @ 15.39 g/t Au, and numerous high grade gold and base metal showings along the prolific Schott's Lake anticline. SKRR is eager to put its exploration expertise to work to advance this top-ranked property, located only 40km to the northwest of the historically significant Flin Flon mining camp".
