Today, leading healthy, active lifestyle brand Jamba Juice announced that it has entered into an exclusive franchise agreement with ShowMe Smoothie LLC to develop 15 Jamba Juice stores in Missouri and Kansas over the next nine years.
ShowMe Smoothie LLC is an investor group led by David A. Peacock, former president of Anheuser-Busch's InBev subsidiary. Among investors involved in this venture are sportscaster Joe Buck and St. Louis University's Billiken Hall of Fame member Scott Highmark. The agreement between ShowMe Smoothie LLC and Jamba Juice will take advantage of all the growth formats in Jamba Juice's portfolio to enable the ShowMe Smoothie team to develop the Jamba brand across both Missouri and Kansas.
"We are incredibly fortunate to have an opportunity to be a part of the Jamba Juice growth story in helping to expand the brand to America's heartland," said Peacock, of ShowMe Smoothie LLC. "Jamba is recognized around the globe as a leader in health and wellness; our goal is to bring that authenticity to St. Louis area consumers and beyond, establishing Jamba as the primary choice when they look for a healthy meal or snack."
ShowMe Smoothie LLC will additionally serve as a Master Area Representative in the Missouri and Kansas markets for selling and installing JambaGo units and non-traditional "smoothie station" formats.
Jamba Juice was founded in 1990 and is a leading restaurant retailer of better-for-you specialty beverages and foods, including whole-fruit smoothies, fresh squeezed juices and juice blends, hot coffee and teas, hot oatmeal, breakfast wraps, bistro sandwiches and mini-wraps, California Flatbreads, frozen yogurts, and various baked goods and snacks.
