Frontier Communications' Executive Vice President and CFO, John M. Jureller, announced today that Luke Szymczak is joining the company as Vice President, Investor Relations. Mr. Szymczak will report to Mr. Jureller.
Mr. Szymczak joins Frontier after twelve years with J. P. Morgan, most recently as Managing Director of JPMorgan Asset Management. He spent time as a senior analyst, where he covered telecom, wireless, cable, and technology sectors for the global asset manager. He also managed the firm's global Tech-Media-Telecom Fund.
Prior to J. P. Morgan, Mr. Szymczak was with Prudential Securities for eight years. His most recent position was First Vice President, Equity Research, which had him covering the communications equipment industry. Before that, he was an Associate with Schooner Capital. Mr. Szymczak began his career with IBM and held corporate positions in Engineering and Marketing, and also managed teams whose projects covered Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
Mr. Szymczak holds a Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University's College of Engineering and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
