Engage Mobility, a digital video and mobile marketing company, later this summer will launch a "first-of-its-kind" augmented reality mobile platform based on the company's proprietary marking platform and newly licensed technology.
The Engage Visual Engagement System designed for business use will integrate the company's proprietary digital video marketing platform and Dynamic Data delivery system with recently licensed AR technology and backend MCRM software.
"We are really thrilled that we have acquired the rights to this highly disruptive technology, and we will be able to bring what we believe to be the very first fully developed and commercially viable Mobile AR system to businesses worldwide," Jim Byrd, CEO of Engage, stated in the press release.
Engage is recognized within the industry for its performance-based video marketing concepts such as Pay Per View, Pay Per Call, and TargetKast database video delivery platform. With the introduction of its mobile AR browser and Visual Engagement System, Engage now has a pathway to enter the mobile engagement space.
"With the Engage Visual Engagement System, brands will engage with consumers like never before, in a powerful and compelling manner, inside a mobile environment, with full analytics, loyalty and reward programs and a back end MCRM that is second to none. By combining this compelling Mobile AR technology with our existing digital video marketing and Dynamic Data platforms, we truly believe that we will have the most comprehensive, powerful, cost effective, and user friendly business marketing system ever conceived," Byrd stated. "This is a very exciting time for the Engage team and for our shareholders."
Engage anticipates launching its Visual Engagement System as early as June 2013.
