Yesterday, TeleCommunication Systems (NYSE:TCS) announced that it has been awarded $11.3 million in additional funding to provide the U.S. Marine Corps with field support services for its communications infrastructure. The U.S. Army Project Manager for the Warfighter Information Network-Tactical Commercial Satellite Terminal Program will manage the procurements through the Army's $5 billion World-Wide Satellite Systems contract vehicle.
