When I was a lender, I learned to expect losses and I budgeted for them. But, I have never forgotten that you never really make a loss back. That money is gone. It takes other capital and more time to make more money.

As an equity investor investing money that I worked hard for, I try to navigate the multitude of risks inherent in a public market by sound underwriting. I approach a stock investment as if I were buying the whole company.
