Exxon Mobil Corp reported a better-than-expected 53 percent increase in quarterly profit. It reported a fourth-quarter profit of $9.25 billion, or $1.85 per share, compared with$6.05 billion or $1.27 per share in the same quarter a year ago. Its revenue soared to $105.2 billion from $89.8 billion a year earlier. Exxon said refining profit rose sharply to $1.15 billion from $189 million a year ago.
