Manpower Beats Estimates

Manpower Inc reported a higher-than-expected quarterly profit as it earned 66 cents per share, 5 cents ahead of Wall Street forecasts. The company said demand was “exceptional" and it expects first-quarter earnings of 26 cents to 34 cents per share. Its sales rose 18 percent to $5.21 billion.
