Biomass, a renewable energy source, is biological material from living, or recently living organisms, such as wood, waste, (hydrogen) gas, and alcohol fuels.

Example of Successful Wood-Waste-to-Energy Applications: Vermont Public Schools Use State-of-the-Art Wood-Fired Systems.

Vermont is a national leader in wood-to-energy applications and has been particularly successful in heating its schools with wood. Over the past 15 years, wood-fired heating systems have been used in as many as 25 Vermont schools ranging in size from 23,000 to 270,000 square feet. These facilities use about 8000 tons of wood chips per year and reduce fuel bills by more than 50 percent compared to the cost of fuel oil. The systems are modern, computer-controlled facilities with automated fuel feeders and highefficiency boilers that have very low emissions.

Cleantech Transit Inc. ("Cleantech") (OTCBB:CLNO) was founded to capitalize on technology advances and manufacturing opportunities in the growing clean energy public transportation sector.

CLNO has expanded its focus to invest directly in specific green projects that can maximize shareholder value. Recognizing the many economic and operational advances of converting wood waste into renewable sources of energy, CLNO has selected to invest in Phoenix Energy.

Gold gives a whole new definition to the term economic recovery.

With the frequent occurrence of the very high grade gold vein systems in the central area of its Senderos de Oro project, in Colombia and with several small scale grinding and amalgamation mills in-place, Orofino is planning to design a central processing and recovery facility capable of processing enough high-grade material to produce up to 120,000 ounces of gold annually. That could help the US Economy!

With todays economy and the ongoing devaluation of the dollar, gold is real money in anyones pocket. Some investors have been buying Gold by the ton, not just the ounce.
