Diary of A Day Trader© : April 20, 2011 "4/20 Rally Up in Smoke, But Markets Get Higher"

|Includes: Eagle Rock Energy Partners, L.P. (EROC)

Although the pot sector has failed to catch a fire, all of the major market averages are soundly in the black.

TIVO shares accidentally hit the reverse button, rewinding more than $3 bucks a share. Then someone hit fast forward and the shares jumped $4 in a matter of minutes. Go figure. I'll stick with the built-in DVR in my cable box.

It's always easier to trade when the market is in a bullish mood, and I've managed to carve out some profits on AVVC, which looks like the next nightmare short squeeze for OTC players, and CEYY, after it settled into the .32 cent range. I like this one for more slow but steady gains, until the first major rug-pull knocks the stuffing out of it. I also took some profits in LPH and hope to ride the shares of EROC to new 52s today on the $12 break. My twitter guru predicted it, and he's pretty uncanny when it comes to this stuff. He also predicted an imminent break of a buck for LFVN.  They're doin' what they can to fake people out here, but that $1 seems inevitable.

And don't forget about DOGO! Something's up in the kennel.

Back atcha later.
