Nissan is not getting the type of press it deserves. Maybe that is one reason its stock is suffering. Sure there are operating issues in Japan for all manufacturers. But these will eas. In the case of the Altima hybrid they have taken a different approach to the hybrid sedan space. Instead of trying to out do the Prius on efficiency and mpg, Nissan turned its attention to performance. The Altima hybrid delivers a sporty sedan hybrid that is also very stingy on gas. I think they are undervalued and a medium-term hold for 10% gains in stock price.
