Like most people that are diversified, I own precious metals. I recently eliminated my leaps in SLV that were for strike at 38 in January 2012. I did this last week and am feeling like I made the move too early. I am feeling like I want to get back in. This is a warning to me. I am beginning to think there is a big correction in silver coming because of this.
I have interest in behavioral finance and the feeling with recent posts, message boards, and articles regarding silver seem to reflect that if you don't own it you are missing out. This indicates that a correction or top in silver is very near.
Supposedly, this is the perfect storm for silver and other commodities. The dollar is sinking. Economies are growing. People are buying precious metals for safety. It may very well be the perfect storm, but once everyone sees the storm who else is there to seek shelter? Where are the returns going to come from?
