Dice Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:DHX) reported financial results for the quarter ended March 31, 2011. First Quarter Results: Revenues for the quarter ended March 31, 2011 totaled $40.1 million, an increase of 49% from $26.8 million in the comparable quarter of 2010. Recruitment activity continues to strengthen, benefiting each of their specialized brands, including 48% and 35% year-over-year revenue growth at eFinancialCareers and Dice.com, respectively. In addition, the acquisitions of Rigzone and WorldwideWorker contributed revenues of $3.1 million in the first quarter of 2011. Excluding the impact of the two acquisitions, revenues increased 38% year-over-year. Operating income increased 77% to $10.8 million versus $6.1 million in the comparable quarter of 2010. The increase in operating income was a function of higher revenues partially offset by an increase in operating expenses of $8.6 million from the first quarter of 2010. Slightly more than half of the increase in operating expenses or $4.5 million was due to the inclusion of their energy businesses this year, including $2.0 million of amortization expense.

Wyndham Worldwide Corporation (NYSE:WYN) announced results for the three months ended March 31, 2011.Highlights: First quarter 2011 adjusted diluted earnings per share (EPS) was $0.44, compared with $0.34 in the first quarter of 2010, an increase of 29%. First quarter 2011 reported diluted EPS was $0.41, an increase of 52%, compared with the same period in 2010. Free cash flow increased 11% to $185 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2011, compared with $166 million during the same period in 2010. The Company defines free cash flow as net cash provided by operating activities less capital expenditures, equity investments and development advances.
Year-to-date, the Company repurchased approximately 8.2 million shares of its common stock at an average price of $31.01 for approximately $255 million. The Company announced that its Board of Directors approved a $500 million increase to the share repurchase authorization. The Company is increasing its full-year adjusted EPS guidance from a range of $2.05 - $2.15 to a range of $2.15 - $2.25 based on a diluted share count of 173 million.

Ore that has been stockpiled at the new mill in order to streamline the commissioning process is currently being processed as part of the commissioning stage. In addition, Majestic is pleased to announce that the tailings dam is fully completed and all tailings lines and water return systems are in place and now in use.
They are excited by the prospect of getting the new mill on line and being in a position to significantly increase production levels. This represents a significant milestone in their transition from exploration to production.
