Cuisinart gr-4n griddler Fuctions:
This Cuisinart gr-4n griddler is a countertop unit providing you with 5 cooking options. It can function as a contact grill, panini press, full grill, full griddle or half grill/half griddle. It multi-functionality is made possible by a set of removable and reversible cooking plates with a hinged and floating cover. Controls to select functionality and temperature are located on its base and there are even indicator lights.
Cuisinart gr-4n griddler Uses as Contact Grill:
To use the Cuisinart gr-4n griddler as a contact grill, use the grill sides of the plates. This function is great when you need to cook burgers or thin pieces of meat and vegetables quickly as you are able to grill both sides of the food simultaneously. It features a special handle and hinge that enables the cover to adjust to the thickness of the food.
Cuisinart gr-4n griddler Press Function:
The Panini press function of the Cuisinart gr-4n griddler is similar to that of a contact grill. It is a good choice when you want to grill sandwiches, breads and quesadillas. It is recommended to use the grill side of the plates but you can also use the griddle side of the plates or a combination of both, depending on the type of sandwich you are making.

You can use the Cuisinart gr-4n griddler as a full grill by opening the cover flat and using the grill side of the plates, giving you double cooking space. Lastly, open the cover and use the grill side for one plate and the griddle side for anothe plate will allow you to use the Griddler as a half grill/half griddle. This gives you the best of both worlds and you can use either temperature control.
