Finding Synergies with GPS Shoe Partner Aetrex Worldwide

|Includes: GTX Corp. (GTXO)
GTX is focused on GPS tracking and monitoring technologies that are easy to use and offer 24/7 global tracking capability. While their products can be found in commercial shipping applications, the company is a leader in helping families keep at risk members safe. Patrick Bertagna, CEO of GTX Corp, described the reason behind the company’s development of an innovative category of personal location-based services as “keeping you connected to whom and what matters most.”

He added, “The GPS Tracking app is the simplest way to stay connected to a child, parent, friend or business associate, quickly and accurately from a Smartphone or internet ready device like the iPad, iPod or Android tablet, allowing users to locate people, instantly with one simple touch of a button. We also offer it at a price everyone can afford without compromising privacy.”

GTX offers a GPS and cellular location platform that lets subscribers track the location of people, high value assets or pets in real time through a miniaturized transceiver module, wireless connectivity gateway, middleware, and a viewing portal available through virtually any smart phone or computer. The Company has been working with Aetrex Worldwide, Inc. for 2 years to place the GPS tracking devices into footwear, targeted to help the families of seniors suffering from dementia. GTX expects to make its first shipments to Aetrex in the third quarter of 2011 and the GPS Smart Shoe is scheduled for consumer release in the third quarter of 2011 as well.

Pre launch, beginning in August, Aetrex will introduce the Code Amber Alertag to its customers by placing a post card discussing the benefits of the Alertag in each of their shoe boxes.

The Code Amber Alertag is a convenient way to provide information about medical conditions, life threatening allergies, or blood type. Health insurance information and other medical history details can also be readily accessible. GTX has also focused on affordability and the service is available for less than $20 a year.

Aetrex currently ships approximately 50,000 pairs a month of wellness shoes specifically designed for people suffering with diabetes. The Code Amber Alertag can offer many people afflicted with diabetes or dementia a simple and effective means of alerting first responders of their condition.

The benefits to families of the Code Amber Alertag are obvious, and GTX looks forward to helping those caring for children or at risk adults enjoy additional peace of mind through its award wining and patented technology.
