Trading Day: MONDAY – December 13th, 2010
OVERVIEW: FOMC Week
Friday was more of the same…slow grind to the upside. Most of the volume was contract spread volume. While the rollover will still happen this week we will be focusing on the March (H1) contract.
With no news on Monday and the FOMC announcement on Tuesday we are expecting Monday to be more of the same. If we do keep grinding up there would be a chance to see the 1245 area before Monday close. After looking back on past FOMC announcements this grind up smells like a “pump and dump” scenario. No matter what happens Tuesday we are expecting volatility to pick up this week. Also keep in mind Quadruple Witching day is Friday. Be safe and trade well…better yet bring a friend and trade with them.
