TEPCO (TKECF.PK) sells its 8% stake in mobile-phone operator KDDI Corp. for ¥186B ($2.4B) in order to raise funds to pay victims of the Fukushima disaster. The firm is also divesting itself from smaller positions in a number of energy firms to raise cash for payouts.
